Jan is a hypnotherapist, counsellor, author and speaker. She loves helping people unlock their potential by working on their subconscious mind. Jan has over 20 years experience working with people to bring about change to their lives. Specialising in stress management, anxiety, weight loss as well as building confidence and self-esteem, Jan has touched thousands of people throughout her career and is a vital member of the Brisbane Natural Health team. Jan holds a Diploma of Counselling Skills; Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy; Graduate Certificate in Sexual Health (Sydney University), is a Registered Professional Member of ASCH and is health fund certified.

Mary is the executive director and founder of the MindWise Institute, which focuses on “Relationships with the Brain in Mind”. She specializes in using brain based approaches in psychotherapy with couples, children, and families. She presents on topics that include Memory Reconsolidation, MindWise Relationships, Parenting, Co-Parenting through Divorce and Beyond, and Suicide Prevention.Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Mary advocates for cultivating equal-value approaches to working with all humans in all areas of life and reducing stigma in mental health!

Derrick L. Hassert, PhD, LMHC, LCPC, is trained in behavior analysis and therapy through the Rehabilitation Institute of Southern Illinois University and a certificate of specialization in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies. He has a PhD in psychology with a focus on cognitive neuroscience and a second MA in clinical psychology – together this foundation constitutes what is often called neuropsychotherapy or neurocounseling (how psychotherapy changes the brain and promotes more adaptive functioning).
