UNC researchers lead clinical trial evaluating potential treatment for postpartum depression

A phase 2, double-blind study of the investigational medication, brexanolone, in the treatment of women with severe PPD published in The Lancet. Phase 3 trial with brexanolone in PPD is currently underway at UNC.
