My work is informed by a long-term commitment to promoting and upholding human rights and to practicing reflectively with compassion. I approach my practice with a healthy sense of humour and a beginner’s mind. In private practice I provide clinical supervision and professional consultancy for counsellors, caseworkers, lawyers and other practitioners working with adult survivors of childhood trauma and people affected by domestic and family violence. As an mBodyWisdom partner I deliver trauma-informed and movement-based groups and workshops for practitioners working with trauma. My trauma counselling / psychotherapy practice is based at a community-based women’s health service.

I specialise in providing culturally appropriate training and services. My approach is informed by neuropsychotherapeutic principles and by the biopsychosocial model of health management. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I advocate to address the broader systemic and social issues that impact health across the lifespan while adhering to respectful and responsive work practices to promote positive health and wellbeing.
Trauma-informed clinical supervision, counselling and groupwork within a relational and biopsychosocial framework. Integrated approach to trauma recovery informed by various theories and practices e.g. neuropsychotherapy, feminist, person-centred, somatic, sand-play, existential, mindfulness.
